Again, not a ton of rides in the Animal Kingdom, but these were our overall favourites. We were lucky to ride Flight of Passage TWICE – once with about 100 minute wait which was actually worth it to go through Pandora and see it all and once at rope drop so just a 20 minute wait. SUCH a good ride. It was stunning and very emotional. Not ashamed to say I cried! And I know I’m not alone in that.
If you do find yourself having to be in the standby line for this, try to avoid the midday sun, but there are drinks stands along the way.
DINOSAUR is also fab. I remember we were all very surprised by this ride! Expedition Everest is a firm fave – there is no inversion on this ride, just a couple of big drops, but the ride does go backwards at one point and it turns as it does, which makes it feel a little like it’s going upside down.
I think Kali River Rapids is probably our number one as a whole family. When we first arrived last year we went on it three times in a row! We think it is definitely better when it’s dark, but it is lovely to ride in the day when you need to cool down a bit.
